Annual Exhibition and Trophy Night

The November meeting is the Club’s final competition for the year and has a different format from the normal monthly meetings. It is intended as an exhibition of our members’ best work during the year.

The competition comprises two divisions:
Image of the Year Sections
  • Colour print of the Year
  • Mono Print of the Year
  • Colour Projected Image of the Year
  • Mono Projected Image of the Year
You may enter a maximum of 10 entries across these four categories. To be eligible, an image must have been submitted in a monthly club competition this year.
Entries in these sections must be submitted in the same format as they were submitted in the monthly comps – e.g. an image submitted as a colour print in a monthly comp must be submitted in the colour print section of the IOY awards.

Trophy Sections
  • Shaw Family Portrait Trophy
  • Mike Gillies Electrical Landscape/Seascape Trophy
  • Reg Arnold Human Social Documentary Trophy
  • Richard Hodge Skyscape Trophy
  • Allan Jones Skyscape Trophy
  • Goolwa Meats nature Trophy
The trophy sections are open to prints only. A member may enter a maximum of three images in each trophy section. Any image is eligible, including ones which have NOT been entered in a previous monthly competition, as long as it meets the definition of the category entered.
Where appropriate, the same print may be entered in both an IOY and a trophy section and will count as one entry toward the limit in each section.
