Annual Exhibition and Trophy Night
The November meeting is the Club’s final competition for the year and has a different format from the normal monthly meetings. It is intended as an exhibition of our members’ best work during the year.

Image of the Year Sections
Entries in these sections must be submitted in the same format as they were submitted in the monthly comps – e.g. an image submitted as a colour print in a monthly comp must be submitted in the colour print section of the IOY awards.

- Mono Projected Image of the Year

Audio Visual (AV) Rules. January 2023.
*** (please note AV Rules differ to those of regular competitions) ***
1. No Pornography or Gratuitous violence.
2. All Entries will be judged primarily on their story telling, emotional impact and/or artistic merit.
3. AV’s must be in MP4 file format and Full High Definition 1920 X 1080 ppi resolution.
4. Appropriate credit must be given at the end of the AV to other artists whose work has been used eg) music, poetry, third party photographs etc.
5. Third party photographs are allowed only where they are important to the story and where it was not possible for the author to have captured those photographs.
6. Video clip inserts are allowed in AV’s but must not exceed 20% of the total duration of the AV. This limit excludes simulated motion, time lapse photography, computer generated transitions or other similar mechanisms to simulate movement, all of which are acceptable AV components.
7. Submissions of an AV explicitly indicates that the author:
(i): Accepts full responsibility for obtaining any permissions and paying any license fees as required of the use of copyright material that may be used in their submission.
(ii): Gives SCCC permission for the AV to be shown in public or on the SCCC Website or in any SCCC publication.
(iii): Indemnifies the South Coast Camera Club Inc and its organisers against all and any actions that may be taken against them by copyright owners of any third party copyrighted material used. The South Coast Camera Club and its organisers of the competition will accept no responsibility in the event of dispute or litigation.
