Photos Alive 1 is the first of a three part workshop series presented by John Hodgson and organised by the South Coast & Goolwa Camera Clubs. John Hodgson will present this 3 part workshop. John has extensive experience and his Biography and a Course Outline are provided at the end of this document. Photos Alive 1 will give you a foundation and set you a project that will be built on in Photos Alive 2. It is essential to participate in at least Photos Alive 1 & 2 OR Photos Alive 2 & 3 to get the most out of this workshop series. Photos Alive 3 will be a review and fine tuning session of what has been learnt in the previous two and puting the finishing touches to your project. The best benefit will be achieved by participating in all 3 sessions and a discount for Photos Alive 3 may be offered to those participants who do so. The workshop is designed to equip you with the skills to become to become a proficient user in all aspects of PTE AV Studio (Pictures To Exe) software and whilst those skills will be able to be applied to other AV software programs, that is something individual participants will have to do themselves. There are numerous AV / Audio Visual / Slideshow software programs available, and whilst the principle is the same, the way each goes about achieving the end result is different. It is simply not possible to find someone who has a complete knowledge of each program, but if you become proficient in one, you are well on your way to applying those skills to others.
